Title: Met TZolk last night
Post by: Roger Norris on October 24, 2012, 07:24:00 AM
TZolk came by the house last night to pick up an Asbell wool jacket. What a great guy. 11B veteran, current paramedic, kind of an underspoken, confident guy. He tried out my Lil Favorite ( he's a darn good bowshooter)and we BS'ed about traditional archery until it got dark. Todd killed a nice buck off the ground this year (I think with his Tolke) while wearing plaid, not camo. I enjoy meeting traditional archers, they are usually decent and squared away. Todd is a great example of that.   :clapper:

This site is awesome, I have met so many good folks due to TradGang!

Well said Roger, like you I have never had a bad experience meeting a fellow trad-ganger.  I guess we are blessed to have such a great place to meet, post, etc. The folks here are top notch.

Well said sir.

Bob.

Amen to that brother.  Traditional Archers are some of the best folks you can meet.  They are more than willing to share information and knowledge even if it may cause a sacrafice to themselves. For example, how may times have you seen a post where someone was sharing some bad times or mentioning that if they only had... and then out of nowhere a Tradganger responds by filling that need, which usually the expense is out of their own pockect.

This is why I love Tradgangers and this forum!

Whoa! Didn't expect to see this lol!  Met Roger for the first time last night, could probably hit his house from mine with a strong back wind and a heavy Turkish war bow,  he lives so close!

I feel blessed!  Thanks bro! Great to meet you as well and I love that bow. It looks like Java mans Helms Deep model.  Cheers!
