A quick inspection with the glasses made me give up the elevation and drop down into the bottom of the drainage. This is what I found.

I'm not sure how this goat ended up here it for darn sure was not speed goat country.

You might be surprised where antelope show up. Just this morning I had a young buck in some thick timber where I was hunting whitetails, and I often see them in high alpine terrain that is not what you would think of when looking for antelope.

I managed the Stead Airport and had a juvenile buck inside our fence.  He remained outside our inner fence so I let him stay.  I guess he just wandered out the gate.  Only antelope  I saw in our entire valley!

Nice speed goat, that one!  Cool find too.  No telling where you'll see one either, there is a hunt for them in Oregon where it says right in the regulations that the hunt is difficult due to the antelope being in thick timber!

Aliens were transporting it bck to the "Mother Ship" for evaluation and dropped it...

Stranger things have happened, I am sure.

Great find.
