This is my first year hunting with trad gear from a blind. My 60" MOAB is just a little too long.
I'm thinking a max of 56" and my preference would be a longbow (though will settle for a recurve). My DL is 27".
I've got a couple of K-Mags and 52" works great for me, but would like to hear some other options.
Anybody care to throw out some recommendations?
Hoots 54" I have 2 comming for Christmas one for me and one for my son.And at that short of a draw the 52" hoots would fit.
Black Canyon Sheepeater(47") or Texas Recurve both static tips short.
You mean this, Kim, right?

Give Lee Hoots a call he usally can get them done in just a few months and has them in 52,54 and 56 "...His bows have no finger pinch and are the perfect bow for ground blinds..I hunt the ground and my 56" little hoots recurve is just right..

Maddog. He makes longbows from 50" and up.
I purchased a blind 2 seasons ago that I can shoot my 62" recurve out of. Its an ameristep I believe the model is harvester.
Chad Frances at Lost Creek Bows built a 54" longbow which I picked up. Perfect in blinds, pop-ups or natural.
Hoots or shrew. Can't go wrong with either one!
A thunder child from bigjim or a wildhorse creek kestrel would be my vote both are great bows
Two Tracks Ambush recurve 50". Chuck's a great guy to work with.
i shoot a 62in.black widow out of a blind i just get to my knees when i need to shoot killed 10 turkeys doing this...
For longbows I like Big Jims Thunderchild, I have a 56'' and for recurves I like Cascade Archery Nighthawk magnum 56". The Nighthawk was the smoothest recurve I have ever owned and i have owned a few ! Good luck to ya ...
56" Cascade Brushhawk for a longbow and a Cascade Nighthawk or Goldenhawk Mag from 48",52" and on up.
I have 56" Kajika Stik I really like even with my 30" draw.
If you are looking for a great recurve to shoot out of blind you can't go wrong with st joe river longbows, 56" recurve, super easy to manuver around your typical hub blind. Give Dave and Tracey a shout
56" Pronghorn is a sweet shooting short longbow. I draw 28 1/2" and have no problems with mine. I love my 58" Pronghorn as well. Tough to beat a good ole Pronghorn.
hill country Bobcat - 54" recurve, 56" LB - awesome!
I would go with a beeler, have a 56 inch one. I shoot it better than my longbows 62 and up.
Get a 56" Big Jim Thunderchild.
My favorite (with my 29.5" draw length) is the 56" Shrew Classic Hunter for a longbow and the 56" Shrew Lil' Favorite for a recurve. With your 27" draw, you could easily shoot 52" or 54" Shrews. I have four or five 54" Shrews that will easily accommodate my longer draw length. I also really like my 56" Big Jim Thunderchild, and you would be well off shooting a 54". Although I haven't shot a Hoots, after visiting with Lee Hoots and talking with the guys who have shot the Hoots bows, I am confident they are outstanding little bows. I also have a Morrison Mini-14 phenolic ILF riser with C limbs that makes a 56" bow that is pretty maxed out at my 29.5" draw, but shoots great.
At least for me, my 50" Black Mountain Sheepeater bow has been a disappointment, but before I say anything that would not be complimentary about the Sheepeater bow line, I would like to shoot some besides the one I bought. I like the idea of the Sheepeater with its static limbs, its very short overall length, and its ability to accommodate a long draw length, but in my hands, it just doesn't work all that well.

I've got a bow that I'm pretty sure is blind. It can't seem to hit anything.
Love my 56" Bruin HR. I do not hunt out of a blind but I do hunt out of a regular sit and stand climbing stand with no problem at all. No stack at all in this bow.
We have a 52" ILF with our Max1 limbs that is smooth out to 28".
For a one piece you can go with the 56" Cree, which happens to be the St. Judes Hope and Faith currently traveling around the US.

56" hybrid long bow.
Kenny,
I actually have a date with Faith for the month of December. Anxious to give her a try.
I have owned a Hoots bow and I would say it would be a perfect blind bow.
Get ahold of South at Stalker a 56" or 58" static tip would be the ticket
