This is for all you WHC fans. Just picked it up today to make 3 on my rack.
58" Kestrel 47# @ 27". Riser is cocobolo with beaver tail grip. Limbs are curly koa (his first bow using the koa, I think) over bamboo cores. Can't wait to get out and shoot it!!!!
Thanks again to Mike for building a great bow. He is truly a gentleman and craftsman.
........and now for what you've been waiting for:

Sweet bow--Congrats!
His craftsmanship is so good. Last year at the ubm 2 of us looked for over a hour at his 15 or so bows he had there and could not find even the smallest of flaw. Awesome bow

Mike "Dun" good......
He's a real craftsman. Take care of her.
Brian, hope you don't mind if I piggyback your thread. Just received my Wild Horse Creek Vision from Mike, 66" 52@28 mild R/D longbow. Leopardwood riser, Tamo ash limbs with coffee stain. Mike really went out of his way, both to get the perfect bow in my hands and to shape the grip to some specs we worked out from half a country away. Here are a couple pics from her drizzly maiden voyage into the woods today. Doesn't that coffee stained Tamo look like skins?

Almost immediately this Vision became my go-to hunting bow. Smooth, thumps an arrow, and absolutely fits me like a glove. It just feels "right" and shoots lights out!! I normally eschew bow quivers on my longbows, but on this Vision a 4-arrow EFA quiver works wonderfully.
I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Mike. Some of you may remember that earlier this summer I had ordered a 58" Kestrel from him, but by the time it got here I had developed a love affair with LONG mild R/D longbows. Mike offered to replace the Kestrel with a custom Vision, and I was floored. Mike went way above and beyond, and he's got a customer for life here in Michigan.
Mike is a top notch bowyer!!!
EXTREME attention to detail.....
I love mine kestrel and my wife is hunting with her mariah asi type this great Bowyer

Love my WHC bows. See u in a few weeks Brian. We will certainly make a trip to visit both Mikes....Horton and Dunaway.
Thanks for the information Pokerdaddy.
This is my first season hunting with my Kestrel. I love it. Shoots better than any other bow I have shot. Mike is the best.
