Do you want a longbow or a recurve, both are excellent bows! :dunno:
Both make longbows and recurves. Bone collector doesn't say which these are. I'm sure either bow style from either maker would be a good choice.
Buy them both! Then sell the one you don't like. Either bow would sell fairly quickly.

It's always nice to try both out to see what you like best. (this applies to bows as well) Lol

:readit:
The stewart is a longbow 62amo the brac is a recurve 62amo
I have always wanted to shoot a Leon Stewart.
In that case I would go with the Stewart since I'm a longbow guy. ;) You did ask "Which bow would you choose?" :)
I would pick the one with all misses shot out of it.
Well I'm biased since I shoot recurves and specifically a 72# Drifter and two Stealths which are basically identical from Wes Wallace. I just really like the Brack/Wallace bows and if it's an older one from when Jim was still alive Wes will take care of any work it may need for you. I just had mine in for some tweaking and I bought it in 89/90.
I have several Brack Drifters and can tell you they are great bows.

I'm a big Brackenbury fan. Never shot a Stewart....yet.
My first custom was a Brack Legend over 20 years ago, its still going strong. I would pick the Drifter.
I'm with Rastaman, buy both...then you will know.
Buy both and send me the one you don't like. :D
Since you asked, I'd go with the Brackenbury Drifter. Bought an original Drifter in 1985 and hunted with that bow for 20 years.
both are great but given choice I would go with the Brackenbury...
I'll be contrary to the rest. I have been a recurve guy for 45+ years, but I have tried longbows off and on over the years. The only longbow I have on my rack is a Stewart Slammer. It's the only one I have been able to consistently shoot well and it is a work of art. I use to own two of them, sold one and wish I hadn't.
Im picking up the stewart longbow sunday cant wait
Ummmm True. :banghead:
I would shoot them then decide.
I don't want to name names but it would start with a "toel" and end with a "ke"
Toelke whips are nice but ill try these two out and decide most likely gonna pick stewart im a longbow guy
Both are great choices, but i think it boils down to what style of bow that YOU prefer, and which suits you best.
Try before you buy if possible, if not choose by style, either way you will be getting quality, and a great shooting bow.
The one I shot better. Or, if that's not possible to test, the one that fit my hand better.
Yea thats what stinks were im meeting the guy i wont be able to shoot em but which ever one feels better in my hand comes home
