Title: Its Awesome to have a well tuned bow
Post by: Eugene Slagle on October 15, 2012, 03:03:00 PM
Didn't go hunting like I had planned Saturday because bills needed paid & my truck needed 2 batteries, guess God was telling me something.

Well after my morning Bible study & Erin's soccer game I took the girls to the club to shoot some & wanted to check the broadhead tune on my old Sky - Sky Hawk.

Lets put it this way, Bambi his dad &/or his mom haven't got a chance out to 25 yards because 2 broadheaded & 3 field pointed arrows are smacking each other in the center of the 3D target section I was shooting at & they all flew like guided missles.

Man I can't wait to get into the woods.

Bow & arrow specks: 1991 Sky - Sky Hawk built by Earl Hoyt 60" 47# @ 27.5" Gold Tip Trad 35/55 31" w/ 5" feathers & 40gr. Insert & 125gr. Wenzel Woodsman (total arrow weight is 472gr.)
