If i remember right they where pretty decent and a fair price too. does it have a grip thats shaped to your hand with a arrow rest that comes up and has kind of a valley down low against the riser?

I collected traditional archery brochures for years and think I have a sauk trail so I'll check on the model but I think you have a good bow. there

I have a Kankakee River with an offset handle.  I haven't shot it much, but remember liking it when I traded for it-just got too many bows.

Made by Jerry Roberts and his son here in IL. I bought a couple of bows from him. A very nice guy and easy to talk to. The handles are great and built fit your hand.

I had a Kankakee River that rattled my teeth.  Too much handshock for me.  Dick

The Kankakee I shot did not have any handshock.  And I actually thought it was a sweet shooter. I really want to try the Mudd creak flatbow

I had a Mud creek flatbow. I thought it stacked quite a bit and had some handshock. It was built in the 80s so maybe they are better now. I traded it for a Northern Mist Traditional that I like. The other guy was happy with the Mud Creek last I heard.
