Title: Ordered Eagle's Flight quiver ... thoughts?
Post by: INstickbowguy on October 09, 2012, 10:32:00 PM
Just ordered a 4 arrow Eagle's Flight strap on quiver for my Hoyt Dorado ... will this work ok? They look like nice quivers. Good price too ... $63 from website.

I have four of them, I obviously like them a lot.  They work great for me.

They are incredibly lightweight, which means they don't have much effect on your bow's balance. I have a 4 arrow that I have used on my longbows, though I generally use a back quiver these days.

Yep, they work real well. They can help quiet down some bows, and are light weight.  I don't even notice mine when shooting.  You'll like it.

You won't be sorry.  I made the same move about 3 weeks ago.  It's perfect. Nice guy to deal with too.

I like the light weight. I'm not overly fond of the foam they use and the gripper will have your fletching very close together so you will need to pay attention t ohow the broadheads are arranged so the fletching does not touch. I have 3 models an like all of them them. They are versatile in that when you just need a holder for a couple of fish arrows or a few blunts for stumping just borrow a gripper from another quiver and use 2 grippers top and bottom. Thats why I have more than one  :)

Great quivers. No sliding around. And Mr.& Mrs. Ward are super people. Their shop is a bow shooters paradise. You should be more than satisfied.

I like mine. I use a 3-arrow quiver with the old fastening system, works fine. I got a 4-arrow at Denton Hill this year (new system) but haven't made the switch yet.

I'm getting ready to order another one. One that has a longer hood to completely cover my Grizzlies. I talked to them on the phone and they say they can do custom jobs but that they have one not on their website yet that should do the trick.

Can't go wrong with eagles flight. Good honest people that are willing to help you make a quiver choice, not to mention the quality of the quivers. They aren't heavy so they don't roll the bow over in your hand when you shoot.

I bought one of the 3-arrow quivers a few months ago and have enjoyed it.  I had tried other bow quivers on my longbow in the past, and they affected my shot (too much weight which caused the bow to torque in my hand, so I was always having to compensate with a grip style that was unnatural to me).  The EFA quiver is just right -- it's enough weight that you know it is there, but not so much that it causes issues or requires me to modify my shooting style to accomodate it.

Great quiver and great service...wish I never gave away my 3arrow version..I got the new mesa when it came out and that is awesome..I had to shorten the totem feature to fit my Thunderchild...now I just need to get a 4/5 arrow top mount to attatch to my bottom mount and I would have best of noth worlds..2 blades one day and 3 blades another day off the same bow..that would be sweet for me..looks like I need to contact Mr. Ward soon  :)

Good choice.  I have two and use the 4 arrow model on my hunting bow.  3 BH's and a blunt for the stray squirrel or rabbit.

Good choice.  Everyone has a preference...but Don makes a great quiver.  I have 3 and love all of them.  Getting ready to order a Mesa model next and I don't even shoot two blade.....yet.....
