Is it a big difference with hunting distances switching from a 125 grain head to a 165 grain head? The broadhead I want to shoot comes in 165 and that doesn't bother me weight wise just wondering if you think it will still fly straight?
I use a 100 grain brass insert on top of all that.

Absolutely it may alter your arrows spine which will most likely throw off your tune. If you try them and they seem to fly well the extra weight will change your point of aim at 15-20 yards unless you are shooting really heavy bows.
If you really like the broadheads and want to use them and they don't fly well with your current shafts I would buy some 50 grain inserts and replace your 100's.
If your arrows are well tuned now, adding 40gr to the point will make a difference. If I wanted to add that much weight I think I would drop from the 100gr insert to a 50gr insert.

I agree.40 grs of point weight could be the equivalent of 10# of spine.
