This is the lower jaw of the buck I was blessed with last year. I really think he had a lot of room to grow after looking at this jaw.

I won't venture a guess, but even with tooth aging, there are a lot of variables. Still a bit of a toss up.
3.5-4.5
Yeah, I'd say around 4, but like TxAg says, there are a lot of variables.
I am assuming deer came from KS. Looking at absence of premolars and tooth wear and dentene cups I would age this deer as a 3.5. The front tooth on the right side I would call him a 4.5 year old but looking at the opposite side front teeth he leans more towards 3.5 years old.
With the amount of dentine showing on the first molar (3rd tooth) I'd call it a 4.5. The tendency in estimating age by toothwear after 2.5 is to age younger than it actually is. That's the results of some back up cementum annuli results done at Fort Knox.
I thought about the same in age 3.5 to 4.5. That is from the deer in my avatar. He grossed 167 and was well in the 300lb weight. I man if he was a 3.5yr old he was a very good deer and had a lot more room to grow. If he was 4.5 then he still had a bit of room, but how many of you would have passed him even if you thought we was only 3.5yrs old.

The one I killed this year was a 4.5 as well, Jawbone says 3.5, but I knew the deer last year. I plan to send an infield for testing. he grosses 170 or so
With all do respect the only way I could pass a 167 inch gross whitetail with any dignity would be if he was mounted on my wall and I got to pass him daily. Very nice buck, no a buck of a lifetime, bought all that is left to say about his teeth is he needed to brush more often.

My phone changed incisor ot infield... here is the buck I mentioned thad had less wear than yours.
