Ok Ok...I won't be a total Charlie Jr... :D
Had a couple of firsts with this guy.
Most important my first with a wood arrow.
My first with the schafer silvertip.Had the bow for a few years but just couldn't seal a deal with it.
My first out of a treesaddle.
Not special story with this guy.I have trailcam pics of him coming in the past two days at a preset stand location,so hoped in the tree around 315pm,he was on his way in at about 440pm.He walked in the lane and hit him right in the pump station at about 15-20 yards. He ran about 30 yards and stopped, and another first,I got to watch him go down.
Bow is 54@28"Schafer silvertip, arrows are surewoods with 145gr Ace.
Great shot on a great buck!
Nothin' like watching them go down from a good hit with a trad bow.
Nice picture, too.
That is awesome! Congratulations!!! Is that white spot on the bridge of his nose the shape of a broadhead? Very cool!
Doesn't get much better than that! Good work!
Gr8t! Congrats!
JL :archer2:
Good job sir! Nice buck!
Nice!!
I was wondering about that broadhead shaped image on his nose too.
Great VT buck. Congrats on a great buck with lots of firsts.
I would say any deer is special if you can be in the same place at the same time. I like the little bh white spot as well. He seemed destined for your ace bh!
That was the first thing dad said when he seen the deer, that it was shaped like a BH and part of an arrow shaft.
Thanks guys.

I love the mobility of it.I can have multiple stand sites set up ready to hunt,or you have have everything you need to have a stand site setup after scouting right on your saddle.Don't think I'll be going back to conventional stands anytime soon.
I'm using ameristep screw in steps. They are readily availible around my area.
Thanks guys!
Very cool deer and great shot! Congrats... :clapper:
