Title: Interesting topic I can't get a handle on your thoughts please
Post by: cuboodle on October 06, 2012, 08:09:00 PM
While hunting today I was in a tree on a pinch point  a clearing on one side about  a hundred yard strip of woods and a clearing filled with boisen berry brambles on the other. This made the woods I was in get lighter about 30 min earlier than the surrounding woods and it was lighter way longer at night.
Here is the question is this a good thing or would deer avoid it

I would guess that it makes no difference. They see it like tht all the time.

I would say if the area has got good deer sign and activity, it's a good thing because you get those few extra minutes of shooting light that you wouldn't have deeper in the woods.
