But started checkin in again a couple weeks ago. Anyhow, Killed this doe this mornin at 18 yds with my 43# Crooked Stic longbow "Butter". She and six others came in at about 7:40 and munched on some acorns. There were too many eyes and they never really gave me a shot opp. They ended up going uphill away from me and I figured it was over. Right at 8 o'clock this one and another came back down the hill for some reason and gave me a great shot @ 18 yds. Got a pass thru and she only went 50 yds. Shootin Woodsmans.

Good shooting and welcome back!
I can smell the backstraps on the grill. That's some pretty Kentucky farmland behind you.
Congrats!

Have you got any more pics of your bow. i don't get a chance to see Mikes bows enough as I'd like to. Crooked Stick makes a good one. kirk

Thanks folks. Really enjoyed this hunt and appreciate the warm "welcome back".
Had some awesome grilled tenderloin and deer heart tonight. Man I missed fresh meat!
