Hi everyone! I've had the traditonal bug for a couple of years now and thought I'd dive in. I've been watching this site for a while and am amazed at the collective wealth of knowledge represented here. Looking forward to the journey. Thanks!
Welcome, where abouts PA? I go up there every year, up around Smethport.
Welcome to tradgang, you will find some outstanding people on this site.
Welcome, a great place to hang out and learn!
Welcome :campfire:
Welcome! what part of PA?
Welcome from Kentucky! None of us know everything you are more than welcome to bring your knowledge to the table anytime.
Welcome aboard the best site on the web!
Glenn
Greetings from SW Pa..
Welcome from Wisconsin.
Welcome from a fellow newbie.
Tom
Welcome. Love the name Tickbait!
Welcome
Welcome to the gang! :wavey:
Thanks everybody. I'm from the State College area right in the middle of PA. Lots of public land, wish I could say the same about the deer population.
Welcome from Harrisburg
Welcome Tickbait! Great name, one we all can relate to nowadays.
Welcome! You'll enjoy it here. always something beneficial going on here. Was in Allentown earlier this week. Beautiful farmland north of there.
Tim
Welcome from NW PA.
Welcome and good luck!
God bless,
Charlie
Another Pa. welcome. :campfire:
Hey Tickbait - Welcome to Trad Gang!
I'm also from near State College - I've got a Howard address, but I'm actually closer to Lamar. We should get together sometime for some shooting.
jsweka, we'll have to do that sometime. I live on the other side of town in PA Furnace.
Eric.
It's good to have you as part of thr gang. You will like it here.
If you live up to your name, brother, I think I'll leave you a wide berth in the woods. I hate ticks!
I hunt up near Maringo and back of Scotia... live SE PA but used to live in PGM...so go back to hook up with my preacher buddy from PGM and his boys who shoot trad.
Seeing waayyy too many huge bodied and long, bladed spikes up there, more and more every year, along with the runt of the year spikes, to ever buy the theory that "spikes are just late born fawns".
Welcome from Huntingdon. If you don't already know about Black Eagle Bowmen, just south of Lamar, check them out next year. We have had lots of fun shooting their 3D courses.
Greetings from upstate NY! Glad to have you join us!
Welcome from Snow Shoe. I work in State College. Clarence Archery (about 30 mi. away) has Trad. friendly owners, and 3d shoots in the summer. After the year turns, Thursday nights are Trad. nights, you will be welcome.
Thanks guys. I'll have to check out Black Eagle and Clarence. Never shot a real 3D course before.
Doc Noc, I think we have probably shared some of the same patches of woods before. Thats where I do most of my wanderings.
You be careful hanging out with Doc Noc there tic bait. He's been known to be seriously addicted to traditional archery, and has no problem luring others into the woods to fling arrows.
There is no known cure for this addition either.
Welcome aboard.... Kirk
Well, Tick Magnet,
Shoot me an email... if you want to possibly get together while up there next time...
I'll introduce you to my Buddy Carl and 2 of his triplets that love to trad hunt/shoot. They're in PGM all the time!...well, the boys are in college in Lock Haven and one down at Juanita.
Welcome!
Man Tickbait, I should've used that name! Also I'm one of those triplets that Doc Nock is talking about. Welcome aboard!
Nah, Caleb,
You're the poison patch kid!
Whever we go, you seem to find the poison Ivy patch! :bigsmyl:
I had no idea there were so many trad hunters in my area. I've been hunting all my life but kinda new to the traditional way. Looking forward to this!
Welcome to the family brother!
Welcome aboard! :campfire:

Yeah, just look how good I made Keith look on this shot. I shoot white fletching, so I wonder what Keith is doing behind the target

Seriously though, Keith's a dang good shot and usually takes me school while shooting, so I gotta get my digs in when I can.
If ya shoot with us, ya better have some thick skin.
LOL, John can shoot? Since when? :)
I know one thing he can do:)

Roy - Of course I can shoot. Been doin' it for years now. It's just that sometimes I struggle with getting the arrow to go in the intended spot.
See Eric - Ya gotta have thick skin. Just look how quick our fellow PA brethern jumps on ya.
And you told your wife ya went to a shoot? LOL
That's Roy's beverage in the pink cozy.
LOL, is not and you know it:)
Welcome neighbor :wavey:
