My first "built for me" custom. Never tried a forward handle bow but this will not be my last. Light as a feather, stable beyond what I believed possible for such a low mass bow. All the things I've heard about these bows are true. I'll have her in the tree this weekend as I chase sikas. I had Jason put "KIL'r B" on it as an acronym for my name, my daughters, and my wife's, and our last name being Betts. The reason behind the color choice. Going to look good in these changing leaves.
Oh yea, 58#@28", 58".....I had the throat of the grip left 1/2" larger and dropped the heal a little to lower things.

I will let Kyle tell the story, he is still hunting for another one.
Here is what he told me 3 days ago when he received it:
"Love the bow. Grip is amazing. Very easy to shoot. It's going to MD this weekend with me for Sika. Hopefully I can break it in."
I'd say he did a great job of breaking it in!
Great job and 2 thumbs up to Jason on another great looking bow ! Can't wait for you to start on mine !
This was one of six I saw this morning. I'll be honest, I missed my first shot at twenty feet when I clipped a briar.
I told the guys yesterday that I felt like they could be shot from the ground fairly easily due to their curiosity. This morning I grabbed my puffer bottle, turned into the wind, and off I went. Got to where I wanted to be and just listened for splashing water. This one exited the marsh at feet not yards. I was wearing a TCS jacket from Cabelas and it looked right through me. Same thing a four inch stag did last night. It was slightly facing me by the time I got to shoot. Not a shot I have ever taken, or intend to again, but they are small targets and I figured if nothing else I'd miss. Arrow entered at the base of the neck and traveled the length of the body. Total arrow weight was 580 grains with the 250 Wensel Woodsman.
Great shot Kyle and with a great lookin' KANATI!
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Jason makes a fantastic product!
Enjoy the feast!
Shoot straight, Shinken
:archer2:
those thing are awesome! congrats and nice bow! im still working on what to get for myself
Congrats! Way to break in that bow!
Don't know if you've eaten sika before, Kyle, but they are delicious!! A sweeter taste than whitetail. Now you've got to get a stag.
Awesome bow!!! And you dropped a sika with it! Table fair on these deer is awesome. And any one who has never hunted these little guys. It is not easy, they are 60#'s of nothing but nerves. Can't wait to go down to Dorchester county this October. Lawman
Nice!!!!! Both the bow and deer, congrats!
