Although not final sharpened yet, these are the Jasper points I will be hunting with in Alabama in a couple weeks. This Jasper is native to north central AL and after heat treating the colors change to yellows, oranges and reds. They are knapped using only antler tools in the Traditional, notch-less "Hamilton" style found in the area. roughly 1" wide mounted in Bama native rivercane (http://images.imagelinky.com/1349314807.jpg)
Awesome! One of these days I need to get some of those.
Ryan,
As always, great job!

Very nice Ryan. After the hunt you can use one to shave off the crazy new beard(just kidding, I'm growing one myself).
Good luck in Bama with Dax!
I don't use them but, I always enjoy looking at them. Beautiful job.

I wish I had the talent to make them.I have dabbled a few times with a kit from three rivers but NOTHING as nice as those.Great job.
