Are we stuck with the nocks that come with Grizzy STick Alaskan arrows or are there alternatives?
Thanks,
Rich
Pretty much unless u have some jimmy rig in your blood. I think that inside diameter is close .204 or .214. But I use a clear Fire Nock. I sand it lightly. It takes about a minute and it fits snug. ABS has also recently worked with a lighted Nock company that makes a collar insert to fit their nicks. Call Garrett at abs and he can sell u some then use any nick u want is I think how that will work
I just glue them in, if you don't well you already know what happens I guess!
FYI
I took the nocks out of my Arrow Dynamic Traditional shafts and measured the inside diameter. .214 which exactly the same as the Grizzy Stick Alaskan (used gage pins to measure). Tried the AD nocks and they work fine. Nice to have a tighter alternative.
On my AD shafts, I use Easton Uni-bushings and Easton G-nocks. They really work great. Bushing are specific size, and can be bought from 3-Rivers, Raptor Archery, and a few more places.
If AD nocks work in Grizzly shafts, I would think these would, too!
I know they make a glue on nock adaptor for the grizzly sticks. I would think that any 9/32" push in nock would work though with a little bit of engineering.
