Was working in my back yard today and had scads of geese flying right over my head probably 12-15 yds. set for landing in the fresh chopped corn field with winter wheat just coming up. I'm sue I could have fun shooting flu flus at them gliding by. Would a Judo pt. or small game pt. be effective?
A goose is tough bird. I'd use a broadhead.
I agree with Pete, would be quite the trophy
Use a bullhead by magnus.
Every bit as tough as a turkey. Broadhead for sure, and flu-flu's are REALLY going to limit your range.
Broadhead is the only way, unless you are shooting them on the ground at 15 yards or less and can go for a neck shot.

Glad I asked. Thank you guys!
Not sure I would use a standard broadhead though. . . what happens when he flies off with the arrow?
We used broadheads on our goose hunt back in 87

Read your regulations or consult a CPO, Illinois requires broadheads for geese... Good luck!

Don't think a Bullhead is going to tell a big 'ol goose much.
Broadhead all the way.
