Ray I'm guessing you are off of hwy3 between Estill and Allendale? Haven't been down that way in a while.  I graduated highschool in Allendale, and left there and spent the next 4 years in Screven Co.,GA, just across the line on 301. Beautiful area.

Hey Ray.  What's the white oak and swamp chestnut oak mast forecast?  I be up the river from you Nov 4-10.  If you there that week I might come over at lunch and visit.

We had a good year on bucks the past year and Mr. R. killed a 5x5 a few weeks after we were there that looks to be minimum P&Y.  He hasn't had it scored yet.

Cliff it's been really really dry

The water oaks are dropping NOW on our place

There are some chestnut oak acorns but its spotty- so if you find a tree thats dropping you might have a gold mine!!

I'll be in Kansas during that time Cliff. Good luck!

This is a GREAT opportunity everyone. Ray's hospitality can't be beat and the hunting is superb as well. I already have a hunt with Ray in reserve for 2013 and already can't wait!!!

I'll be there in two weeks and again in Feb '13 or I would have taken advantage of this.

Our gang has to go a couple times a year just to keep Ray from picking up a southern accent. Heck, by the time we leave he's totally stopped saying y'all and calls us "youze guys". It's a work in progress.

Mike's too far gone, no one north of the Mason Dixon can understand him. We just grin and nod.

Ray, I've got sweet treats for youze guys. It was a good maple run last spring. See you soon!

Hey guys, jump on this if you are smart. Hog Heaven is one of the most beautiful spots in the country and Ray is a great host. You will get all the good food you can eat, great stories by the camp fire, and an incredible hunt. I'm going down again in March and I can't wait.
Majestic countryside, lots of good food, and first-class fellowship with other trad bowhunters -- what's not to love?
And then there are Ray and Mike, two terrific guys. Book a hunt and you will thank me for telling you to do it.
Joe
