Fifteen yard shot on a broadside doe. I didn't intently pick a spot or bend at the waist causing me to shoot high. I know better than that
Been there, done that. Your not alone buddy. Just try to buckle down and make it right on the next one.
I think we have about all done that! Forget about that shot and concentrate on the upcoming one!
Yup - me too.
In my short time hunting with traditional equipment, I have found that there is no such thing as a gimme shot. A clean miss is better than a bad hit any day.
Don't feel bad I did the same thing only at 12yds last Saturday :banghead:
Steve
Just learn from your mistake and this lesson will pay off for you in the future.
Join the crowd, man. :( :dunno:
I've done that too. You'll get the next one.
I've done it more than once and can about bet it will eventually happen again :(
Still doin't know why we do this.... :banghead:
I've never done that :bigsmyl: Well not this year yet, I won't have a chance until next Weekend,,,,Hope I can keep it together, and not let all these subliminal message sink in...
Iknow you feel bad now,but thers alwaya next time.
Don't feel bad, heck i have missed a deer with a g#$. :dunno:
Hang in there.
you'd think we'd learn :banghead: :banghead:
We have all done it,but we dont like to talk about it
you'll get the next one. I've been there also. Just makes it feel even better when things come together.
I vowed to never shoot over another deer, I had rather miss low, with that said I still will shoot over one once in a while, most of the time early in the season, it seems I have to learn the same leason each year!
The guy (or gal) that hasn't missed hasn't hunted very long!
