Theres nothing more uncomfortable than, cold, wet or sore feet when hunting.
When it comes to hunting gear, footwear is high on the list.
Just curios what footwear has proven itself best for you?
Lacrosse rubber boots with wool socks
What Rick Richard said X2.
LL Bean hunting shoe, 8" or 10" or knee high rubber boots in the swamps. LaCross, ProLine, Cabelas, I've had several over the years. All with good wool socks.
I have a pair of mucks, lacrosse alphaburlys and red head snake boots. the snake boots get the nod til after a couple frosts then I alternate between the other 2. All are great boots
I have lots of different boots, but for stand hunting, I usually wear Muck Woodymax boots. They're a bit warm for a lot of walking though. I wear leather boots if stillhunting.
LL Beans til the temps dip below 25 then I switch to my Schnees.

In warm weather I wear Cabela's snake boots. Most of the rest of the time I wear a pair of ankle high field shoes from Sportsman's Guide or a pair of all leather military boots. If it is wet I wear LL Bean Maine Hunting shoes. I always wear wool socks, even in hot weather.
I love my Muck Wetlands. Comfortable, dry, and pretty warm when need be.
My vote goes to muck boots, I have 2 pair one for warm weather and 1 for cold weather.

Muck "Wetlands"

Gronell hikers are my office in the fall.
I also like the still hunt in light shoes like a sanuk. quiet and comfy on warm days.
Bean boots or Muck Woody Max depending on conditions. I also wear wool socks and sometimes spray down my feet with antiperspirant if it's very cold.

Yep.
Bean Maine Hunting Shoe.
Lacrosse Alpha Burlys early, Schnees when colder, always poly liner sox and wool, medium to heavy, depending on temps.
I'm not a neoprene fan any more. I have a pair of Arctic Muck Boots which are super comfortable, very warm so not for mild weather, BUT I haven't worn them too much in the woods, but the rips and nicks in the neoprene uppers are discouraging. We've got fairly thick cover here with lots of little bushes, dead sticks, etc. maybe those boots are for marshy, grassy areas only. All rubber only for me or RBLT's(Schnees or LLB).
LL Bean's Maine Hunting Shoe until Thanksgiving, then LaCrosse Iceman.
Dave
Whatever's lightweight and comfortable. I have to walk to far for heavy rubber boots, so wear Irish Setter Lighteweight Wellingtons or Cabela's Camo Tennis Shoes until it's too cold for them. I then wear a pair of Sportsman's Guide lightewight Wellingtons with 1000 gram insulation, Wigwam socks and heating pads taped to socks on top and underneat toes.
LL bean Maine huntnig shoe!
LL Bean Maine Hunting Shoe 16" until it gets below freezing. Then I shift to a 14" Kennetrek Grizzly pac boot. I hate knee high rubber boots, but I love tall lace up boots. I have still not found an all leather boot that gives me the advantages of the two boots I have mentioned (but I am not hunting mountains where I might need a more rugged or a more lightweight boot).
Muck boots
Another Muck user.
Muck boots. I even use them for all my elk hunting in some steep terrain.
Water proof Irish Setters with poly liners and wool socks for the last 25 years.

Schnees with the tire tread sole. Super soft and very quiet. They are also very light and provide exceptional ankle support.
Muck wetlands.

yep again except change 25 to 40
Muck boots
For years it has been Danner boots and wool socks. Depending on the weather I have different weight wool socks to keep my feet comfortable. Gortex lining helps a lot with comfort in wet conditions and the wool socks are a must if the feet get wet through a leak or crossing a stream that's too deep while chasing Benny the Bull and his band of hussies. A stitch down sole gives you a wider and more stable platform which helps from having your legs get tired as quickly. I prefer 10" boots but that is just me as I am sure a 6" would be ok too for most hunting.
Muck woodymax for me also!
I wear muck boots to work everyday it is nice to wear my toe shoes for a change.
Danner Jackals early, Rocky Cornstalkers when it gets cold, both with a sock liner and different weight wool socks over those.
Muck boots for me.
Unless I will be doing a lot of hiking, then I will use a leather boot. Hikers in the warmer weather and an insulated boot in the cool weather.
