Title: Vermont bow hunting
Post by: Eric Garza on August 10, 2007, 01:43:00 PM
I recently moved to Winooski, Vermont from the grand state of Indiana and would like to learn to hunt.  I've been building selfbows for about 5 years, but have never hunted successfully with them (or any other weapon, for that matter).

Are there any traditional bowhunters nearby who'd be willing to take a newbie under their wing and show him how it's done?

Feel free to email!  Thanks!

vermontrad and JoeVT live up your way.

You can also contact the Green Mountain Traditional Bowhunters. Greg Magnant, 802-879-5149 gmtb4@aol.com to get hooked up with other guys in the area.

If you ever want to come down here and do some shooting just give me a hollar. vermontrad should be coming down again soon, once my hand heals up.

I'm not from Vermont but hunt alot in Chelsea,Vt. a beautiful state but the deer hunting is tricky up there  compared to southeastern MA. .
