Earlier this year Benjy was kind enough to send me some bamboo to make arrows with. He also sent pictures of some that he made. Mine are not as nice as Benjy's, but I hope to make some better ones next year( he sent me a large supply). Thanks Benjy>

Could be, this fella sure gets around!
Nice arrows!
That's some mighty fine equipment you got there! I live it. Good luck this season.
Thanks Matt. I've had enough advice and mentoring this year to feel confident. Now I need a deer to cooperate. Have a great season too!
How's that saying go? If you build it they will come or something like that. :bigsmyl: You got them built so get ready.
I need the luck too. Lol!
Benjy makes great arrows I took my bear last year with one of his bamboo arrows . Drew
You did a good job making those arrows. I have not made any in a while, just been to busy!
You have made some cool looking equipment, hopefully a deer will cooperate for you very soon!
Benjy
Nice looking set up Mike, Good luck with it.

Looking forward to our Primitive Challenge Hunt Chuck. I have some Benjy mojo working for me, so I'm expecting good hunts that weekend!
Benjy MOJO!!! no fair.
whats his number????
Truth is Mike, with all the MOJO you have in your gear this year, You should tear it up in the woods. The Asbells, Pearl Drumms, Black hawk, KHalverson, and more AND now Benjy.
The woods will tremble when you walk in.
And I hope they do for you. Good luck,
CTT
Nice Mike.
Are you practicing the spine shot on your target. :D
No Will, that was there when I bought it from the 3d range  ;) :p
Those are some mighty fine looking arrows. You dont give yourself enough credit.
Never used bamboo before. Do they hit harder than cedar? Weight wise.
I think they are comparable to cedar Mike. I haven't thought of weighing them because I've concentrated on getting them to fly good. I wrapped them with bowstring strands from a 1950's longbow I had. I figured that should give it a few more vintage/primitive points for the hunt.
Sweet looking set up, Mike!
Benjy's arrows do work very well. The bison burgers we enjoyed this weekend are proof of that.
I remember you said you shot that buffalo with one of Benjy's arrows. Good thing those buffs last so long, the yearlings I shoot are gone by the end of the week(if I shoot them on Thursday) :)
:biglaugh: Been there!
We are rationing whats left of the bison. I made a huge mistake and shared too much of it with the rest of the family. Now I'm about out!
Time to go Bison hunting Bill. :archer2:
I can make a few more cane arrows for bison!!!
I just want ya'll to know that Mike made those arrows, I just sent him the cane. He did a great job and I would not want to take credit for his hard work!!!!
Benjy
Now Benjy, Is that a compliment or are you trying to distance yourself from my lack of craftmanship and quality? :D REALLY, thanks for the cane, and I'm looking forward to building more and BETTER ones this winter.
Great looking arrows. Hope to learn how to do some of that myself.
Mike, it was intended to be a compliment! I know what goes into just one of those arrows!
Great Job,
Benjy
I like the way you think, Magnus.
