Doing better all the time but Deer season (archery) started here on the 8th and I still just don't feel up to it, nor have the needed strength. Still hoping I will before it ends on Jan 1 though - LOL. Wanted to wish everyone else the best possible season though, and let you know I'm still hanging in there.
Best wishes to you Bernie and a speedy and full recovery!
Take it easy, therell surely be some deer left when you feel the strength to hunt em again.
Thank you and wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get back out.
Give me a call when your'e feel ready to get in the woods. I may know a spot for you . lol
Thanks to all, and, Don, that's a great thought and and a pleasant incentive to look forward to. Thank you so much. I think it is mostly the antibiotics that make me "feel" borderline now but of course I need them to keep the "bugs" away - LOL. A few more weeks before I go to the lower powered ones.
Hang in there Bernie! Visit here often and we'll take you along through cyberspace. :)
Keep on fighting Bernie. We're praying for you!
Bernie, I will keep praying for your health to improve. I hope you can make it out even if you are not sporting a bow. Its good for the soul.
God speed to you ! Praying for you .
Get better Bernie, My money is on deer meat in your freezer before January 1.
Hang in there Bernie. It may take some time but you'll get back in the woods. My thoughts and prayers for a speedy full recovery.
Praying for you Bernie! May our good Lord bless you with renewed strength. Dina on Tom's sign in.

well i hope ya get better soon uncle Bernie and hey turn ya Skype on ya old bugger so i can call ya . don't make me come over there
Hang in there Bernie. Maybe get you camera and just go sit for a while and take some of natures pictures. I will probably be on a short leash this year myself. Will keep you in my prayers.
Make him come over, Bernie! I have not killed a deer since 2005, hoping to build the herd up for you. This year I will be actively driving them southward. You can feed them all winter, if need be (Rose would love that, eh?), and they will be fat and sassy next fall. Meantime, as has been suggested, you can work on your photography.
I am starting to hobble around pretty well after breaking my ankle this spring. The PT folks have my feet all taped up... WTH? Oh well, it works. While I am hoping for you to make your own trails of adventure this fall, I will try to give you some reading material to amuse you as you get stronger.
Enjoy this beautiful weather, and give your bride a hug.
Killdeer :wavey:
Best and prayers for a respected member her
Bless all of your hearts. I will keep on keepin' on and hoping for the return of the good conditions. Your encouragement helps, folks. There are so many (even right here) that I know are far worse off than I, so I do my best to keep the good outlook.
I'll be glad to fatten them up if you head any this way, Killie - LOL
Hang in there Bernie. Its a long season, I hope you will be able to get out there.
All of you are so kind - we really have a great "community" here.
