Marty, my next door neighbor, has been a good neighbor for the 19 years I've lived in my house. He knows I shoot bows...ALOT. I mentioned to him a few days ago that I wanted to buy a 3D target for practice. He tells me there's one in his shed and to get it and shoot away.
Well, today I go next door and do a bit of digging (he's a packrat like me) and there it is. In an unopened box there sits the McKenzie buck like I've seen in other yards for years. I dig it out and open it up. Aside from several years of mice poop staining it, it was in great shape. A bleach solution bath and an hour or so later I get him st up and now it's official. I finally have a 3D target and better yet a great neighbor; that much I always knew.
I'll try to post some pics later. My wife absconded with the camera to her riding lesson.

Good deal Bud! Sounds like your a good neighbor as well. Why else would he give it to you! Congrats!
Wish I had neighbors like that, OH ! that's right, I live in N.J.
Just kidding, I have a few good neighbors, just not as good as yours. :bigsmyl:
Now there's a find! Enjoy your practicin'.
Cool. Invte him over to take a few shots at the target.

I've tried. He's a former compound shooter that works way too much to do much of anything. He's self-employed and is always on the go. He doesn't even hunt much anymore, and when he has time, it's gun hunting.
I'll keep trying though ;)
Sounds like somebody might get some venison.
Great neighbors like that are a definitely a blessing!
Finally got around to taking a pic.

Your neighbor is also lucky to have someone like you as his neighbor too.
