If you're at all like me, I used to scramble around each day looking for the local newspaper to find the sunrise and sunset times.
If I couldn't come up with a paper I would have to catch the time on our local TV news.
NO MORE! Now I print up a monthly calendar that shows both times, and also can include lots of options. These would include moon phases, moonrise and moonset times etc.
Check out SunriseSunset.com. It will list your state, then scroll down to find your town. Check the month that you want, and hit the "make a calendar" button.
This has probably been shared before, but if you haven't used it, it's worth checking out!
Good hunting everyone!

Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot for this; I just printed out Sep-Jan and will take them to our deer camp soon and post them up.
If you need to know and have access to the internet (phone, etc), the way I've been doing it is to go to Google, search for "sunrise " and it will display the time for sunrise at the listed location (same for sunset) above its other search results. Very handy.
I used to do that as well and now I just use my Iphone!
Ohio's hunting regs book has a sunrise sunset chart printed in it. One of the better ideas they have had.

Oklahoma too. It's a good idea!!
There is a free app for your smart phone too.
I bought a watch that tells me what time sunrise and sunset is. It also tells me the moon phases and high and low moon times. Really pretty cool. It also has a vibrating alarm, so I can get to the turkey blind or deer stand really early and set it to go off before shooting light and doze a bit. ;)
I just use an app on my phone and it is always at my fingertips. And I can go as far forward in time as I want too.

My Garmin 450T GPS has a sun rise/sun set and moon phase app which has already proven to be helpful when scheduling an upcoming hunt.
Thanks Bernie!
Printed two copies. One for home and the other for camp.
Good info Dad. Thanks and have a happy birthday!
