Man why did you post this? The only bow that I want right now is a Kanati. I need to turn a light on and go shoot and talk myself out of getting one!
love the Kanati!
Jason called and said my Green Goblin was behind mailed today, so when it hits, I'll oblige.

Shot 5 deer with this set-up, so far, all pass-thru's. Best bow for me.

thats not my bow, but I can tell you its standard grey dymondwood (or actionwood). Jason can build them in any readily available action/dymondwood color, contact him he is very helpfull.

Is that the walnut riser?

:dunno: I guess maybe it is. Lamey was the original owner. Maybe he will chime in.
That is the Walnut riser on ishootforthrills bow !
Those are some hot bows.
yeah walnut "dymondwood" in Ishootforthrills, great bow too.
TDHUNTER, glad you like the kanati, you are a great guy to deal with, thanks again Kenny.
Thanks for the info.
DARNIT!
lol
I have my ONE bow..a whip
Absolutely love it...but...
My golly I want to try out a Kanati.
Just looks ideal.
BUCKY..
Are those actionwood cores? or maybe stained?
I really like the blacked out look man!
John those are actionwood cores.
Jason just sent out his first all phenolic riser Kanati this week. Hopefully the owner is a member here and gives us a peak.
He was holding the riser to do a bow bolt version, but he let it go before the two piece came to fruition.
Just ordered my first Kanati today. As I'm not a fan of Dymondwood (particularly when quarter sawn)I was able to do some research with Rosewood Archery and came up with a ziricote/phenolic combo that should be really stealthy with black glass and get this a black medallion :readit:
Jason is offering some longer bows from extended forms. Mine will be 62 inches of traditional bliss...
Now the wait...

WHAT!!!!!!
He's making 62"?!
you know...you guys don't make saving $$$$ very easy..lol
If there was one bow I owned and traded off that I want back, it's a Kanati.
Man I miss that bow. Rarer than hen's teeth in the classifieds - that alone should tell you something.
Someone on here's got a "mountain camo" version with quarter sawn limbs in the green/brown/black camo that's just AWESOME - if and when that bow ever hits the classifieds, well, everyone better be ready. :D
I don't think Jason's doing bows with clear glass anymore - I can understand why, but what a shame - he had some absolutely beautiful bows with the amber bamboo (mine was like that) and the quarter sawn lams.

Thanks,

Russ, yes black glass all the way.
Oliverstacy ...
That cocabola(?) bow very well might be the sharpest looking kanati I've seen...NICE!
Oliverstacy...Wow!
nice bow !
John,
Look at the site window. It's the rosewood colored dymondwood I believe. Sharp is an understatement! I know dymondwood has some superior qualities in mass and strength, but to me it's like crab with a "K" krab...
Wood is good!
~CB
Thanks Keith.
I could tell it was a laminated wood.
Just trying to describe which one.
You may very well be right about it being rosewood colored.
What length do you Kanati shooters prefer?
Just sent Jason the down payment on one. Walnut riser, 61lbs, and as of right now 58" long. Wondering if I'd like the 56 incher though. What string do yall like on your Kanatis?
Nice bows oliver!! What is the riser on the red one?

The dark red bow is Rosewood DymondWood (with black phenolic) and Cross-cut gray actionwood limbs and the other is Cocobolo DymondWood with boo limbs.
Love them both...really need to get better pics in the woods, hopefully next to a deer with me hold it!
I will also try to get better pictures of the limbs to see the veneers better.
Thanks,
Josh
Dave mine are both 56" 50#@28", 45#@ my 26" draw. They are very smooth. One has actionwood cores and the other is boo.My strings are from Oliver Stacey.
Jasons bows are fantastic , one of the best bows out today .
