Yes you do!!! WOW congrats....
Awesome! Give us some details.
Day 5, I had been hunting solo all week but, had a good friend with me. He hung back and called while I moved forward. I was planning to hold out for a bigger bull (this one is average for the unit we hunt) but, he bugled 15 yards in front of me and then gave me a 20 yard broadside. I just couldn't pass! I wanted to shoot my new Pronghorn. I got those Zwickey Eskimos scary sharp and I am impressed with the blood. Complete pass through. Shot one into the top, thin part of the shoulder blade as a test. Don't do that! It didn't penetrate.
Congrats! Nice animal. Maxx
Thank you, lucky to get him and we had a blast.
Congratulations on a nice bull.
Congrats good job
This is proof god loves us and wants us to be happy!
Walk softly and carry a Zwickey!

Good shootin'
Great job!
Very nice
Good Stuff! Congrats of a fine elk and a great shot.
Beautiful Elk. I am curious as to what arrow set up you are using though with a 2 blade that won't penetrate the scapula.
I was worried about using a 2 blade this year....till now
Congrats
Nice  :archer2:
well done
James, I am shooting a full length FMJ 400 spine, Zwickey Eskimo 125 with an insert. Out of my 62" Pronghorn that is 62@30". If I remember right (all my gear is still in WY)(returning in am). My total arrow weight is just under 600g and I am shooting @ 190 fps. The arrow sailed through the ribs with no problem. But, it didn't have a chance of making it throught the scapula. I was shooting a 770g arrow last year with an Abowyer broadhead. I would like to try that on a scapula but, I would be surprized if even that would penetrate the scapula. That is a tough bone surrounded by some tough, thick tissue.
Nice job and a nice elk!
WARNING: Do not shoot things on your wife's head (even if you love her!) This is a staged photo! The propane bottle was put on her head after the shot! In short, do not do penetration testing on you wife! (http://i783.photobucket.com/albums/yy120/737hawk/2012-05-19152720.jpg)
