Here is my new Shrew Classic Hunter. It will be my go to bow this fall. It is 56" long, 44# at 28" draw. Carbon/foam/mystery core. Mostly phenolic riser and flat sawn grey action wood veneers. These pics don't do it justice!

Gregg thought it would blend in well with the hardwoods this fall. I agree.

Sure do wish that I could stitch a handle like that. Beautiful job.
Beautiful Bow!
It shoots as good as it looks! I have a twin to this one on order. It will be about 35# draw weight. I wanted a lighter bow for 3D, stumping and maybe small game hunting and for some friends and relatives, who have never shot a bow, to try.
good luck making meat with it i hunt with a carbon classic hunter as well, and man are they fun to hunt with!
Thats a beauty!
It blends in pretty well with this blow down, too:

Thank you my friend!
Perfect weight, length and color scheme which matches my Super Shrew CH exactly. I love mine and it will be my go to bow too this fall.

Gorgeous Ron!!
Nathan
Awesome looking!!!!
Gregg builds some awesome bows! Good luck this season .
Nice looking bow, just right for hunting. I finally shot a Shrew last month and was amazed at lack of finger pinch in such a short bow. Very good design and very nicely crafted. Good Luck with her!
Nice stickbow Ron! Hope to see it in person this fall.
I hope to show it to you, Izzy. Thanks!
A real beauty Ron,Hope you can break it in on a nice whitetail this fall.
Congratulations!
U cant go wrong with a Shrew!
Great looking bow, good luck with it in the up coming season.
Thanks everyone. I went out with it Saturday squirrel hunting and got a chipmonk at 18 yards!
That's awesome shootin'!

Great looking bow that you have Ron. Hope she shoots awesome.
Ron, thats a great looking bow.
Congrats on the chipmunk. You raised the bar even higher with that one...lol
I put a pic of the chipmonk on the NY squirrel season thread.
 Nice bow Ron! That thing disappears in the woods.
Real Purty
Beauty of a bow, the color/camo scheme is great!
Eric
The color scheme is awesome. Will have to remember that maker.
oh ron that is one awesome bow you lucky son of a gun :archer:
Ron, Just a beautiful bow. My name is up for another Shrew now. Talking to Javaman about options and I'm thinking grey similar to yours in classic hunter. Anything you would change? Just wondering. Doesn't look to me like it could be any better!
The Shrew Classic Hunter is an incomparable hunting tool. Yours certainly will blend in nicely in the woods. You might want to put a GPS locator on it so you can find it if you ever set it down and walk more than a few feet away!
Allan
Thanks Larry. I really woudn't change a thing about this bow. It blends in nice and looks great. I have another, lighter draw weight CH on order and I think I will get it made exactly like this one.
I have been trying not to set it down too much in the woods, Allan!
Very nice!
Great looking bow!
AWESOME! I want a Shrew in a bad way.
Great lookin bow Ron , congrats
   Gotta love it!
Ron, another question. My other shrews are all over 50lbs. Notice yours is lower and you said you have another on order even less. Are you happy with performance in the 40's hunting whitetail.
Great Looking Bow! Good question above. I have a shrew classic hunter myself just under 50. Around 47 I'm extremly please with mine.
Thanks. I think I may give 45#s a try.
I haven't shot a deer with it (yet). Our season just opened. I am sure it has plenty of performance for deer. I ordered a lighter CH for stumping and to let some friends and relatives use.
very nice! good luck with it!
Great bow for a fine guy! Best of Luck with it , Ron!
