Title: Looking for a lightweight strap-on bow quiver
Post by: threeunder on September 03, 2012, 10:20:00 AM
What's the lightest strap-on quiver available?  Preference would be for 1,2, or 3 arrows.  Really just something for quick access to an arrow while on the move.
Photos and links would be appreciated.

I'm a big fan of the Eagle's Flight 3 arrow mini quiver.

Ken, I got a few from a guy at a 3d shoot in CT years ago.Very small and light weight, whole setup only weighs about 3-1/4 ounces. He made them himself and did some other really nice leather work. They hold 2 arrows and work great.

EFA.  I've always had a love/hate relationship with bow quivers...love the functionality, hate the weight and the way they "unbalance" my bow.

Just yesterday I put an EFA on my Dwyer longbow, and I'm loving it!!!  I only put in three arrows, so when I take one out to shoot there are only two arrows and the quiver on my bow.  The EFA works great, did not adjust the performance of my bow, and adds almost no weight!

The EFA is the probably the lightest quiver but I really like the way my thunderhorn small fry quiver balances out my bow. 56" pronghorn good luck there is quite a few to pick from.

The EFA will be the lightest one out there, but I wouldn't let that be the sole criteria. Many options to choose from. I personally have tried most of them and prefer the Boa small fry.

I have the large Big Jim quiver. It's light and easy to strap on. Love it. I imagine the small would fit the bill for you.

Yup on Eagle Flight. I love mine and the bow shoots great with it on.

I have two 3 arrow EFAs.  One has the totem feature and Wing setback feature. The other does not.  I am not using and willing to part with them if you are interested
