Got some new Ribteks. Figured I would save myself some time and ask the experts how is the best way to sharpen them???
Thanks, LB
I make sure there is a good bevel on them and then use an Accusharp. They are shaving in a couple minutes. They are probably the easiest heads to sharpen.
I'll hunt with nothing else. They may be the simplest broadhead to sharpen. Go to the how-to and read up. I like to use a file, then tweek with a dimond hone.
I do it like Jogh says. Mike
Second they are easy to get shaving sharp. File, magic marker helps you see what needs to come off, coarse stone, fine stone, and leather strop. My forearms will soon be bald:)
i use them and sharpen them with an accusharp gets them deadly sharp in 30sec as John said!
It only takes me about 30 - 45 seconds on the Simmons disk sharpener. A few pulls through on each side, a quick strop on a piece of leather and I have them shaving hair. (The first time sharpening may take a little longer - but not much.)
