How about some photos from last season scouting /trail cams or memories that get you fired up for the 2012 hunt...
I have seen his rubs and tracks in the Michigan State land I hunt...yet to see him in good light.

Tracy
K.S TRAPPER,
I'm sorry to see the genetics aren't very good in your area.
I sure hope You put that poor buck out of his misery Tracy. His neck has to hurt so bad from holding that rack up all day.

This is one of my best memories. I thank God for days like this. It's not always about filling a tag. (although those moments are pretty special as well!)
Great pic wetfeathers! If that doesn't fire you up nothing will.
wetfeathers, how close were you? What a moment!!! :notworthy:
I had the one on the right at twenty yards last year, no shot because of too many branches. He was killed during rifle season by a neighbor.
The one on the left made it through the winter. I only have one photo of him this year, in late may he was already out past his ears. I have never seen the buck on the left in daylight but have lots of pictures of him at night.

Thanks for the comments guys. He was about 30 yds. Photo taken in the southern zone. Another buck was already wearing my tag that year. (http://i1151.photobucket.com/albums/o629/wetfeathers1/fa7065d8.jpg)

Not a photo from a trail cam or a scouting trip of mine, but a photo which is my all time favorite photo that gets my adrenalin flowing for bowhunting is a photo of another bowhunter (not of me) on his bowhunting trip.

All of the above photos have me fired up for the season to start. This is a great idea for a thread.

An empty freezer is reason enough for me!

Kenny, knowing what I know about bears in the area, probably 350#.They rarely get bigger than 400 here.He is close to the camera. He is the big boss though. That is also his Spring weight.
That lion is the boss in his world too.He is by far the biggest and heaviest I've seen around. Both those two were passing my treestand last year at 30' but moved out about the time bow season started,as did the whitetails.
I am no cougar expert but that is the largest one I have ever seen a picture of. Look how big his forearms and front paws are! God Bless
Real cool stuff.
