How many arrows do you all get out of a small bottle of the stuff...
Curious as to your results... I've been a bit disappointed so far... hopefully my bottle isn't normal...
Jonathan
I struggle to get a little over a dozen arrows if I'm lucky. There isn't as much in them bottles as you would think.
I switched to Gorilla brand super glue for that reason. I get a lot more arrows out of a bottle.
I use 4 fletch on my arrows and I can usually get about 4 arrows done with one bottle.
X2 Gorilla glue
Guess I'm not the only one then... did 8 arrows and was squeezing the life out of the sides of that bottle ;-)
Havet to give the Gorilla stuff a try then...
Thanks all!
Jonathan
I have a bottle of Easton quick bond.
It's a super glue type glue. Little thicker than super glue, not as thick as gel.
Anyway, it's a one once bottle.
I used about 1/3 of the bottle doing 2 doz 4x4.5" fletch.
so I guess appx 1300" per 1oz bottle.
I think that I was lucky to get a dozen, and had to use Duco to put a dab on the front and back of the feather. I use fletch tape now.

I learned to NEVER use superglue type glue to dab the from and rear of the feather.
The darn superglue seeps right up the barbs of the feather at the tip and makes a big hard glued together tip of feather.
Duco worked just fine on my carbons for the tip of the feather.
Are you using this with wraps on the arrow? I've been using tape, but a little put out with the feathers moving with pressure in my quiver. Even put a dab of glue at each end.
Take the tube out of of the plastic....it goes alot further. You wouldn't believe how much goes to waste just trying to squeeze the sides.
Jeff,
I am using wraps as my experience was the same with tape... I love the stuff normally, but like you my feathers slipped with a little contact... thus I researched on Onestringers site and he suggested using Super Glue Gel...
Thanks Justin... I'll look at giving that a shot...
Jonathan
Good thread, i'm getting two dozen wraps this week, I'm gonna give the super glue a shot.
If I can't find the Easton Quick bond, I'll give the gorilla superglue a shot .
Any other tips/type of glue to try?
Thanks
I'm just using the old Bohning Fletch Tite. I just got through doing two dozen arrows and you can hardly tell that any is gone from the tube.
