Title: Frogging part III with Pascagoula Archer.
Post by: South MS Bowhunter on August 29, 2012, 09:26:00 PM
While waiting out Hurricane Isaac, thought it would be a good time to get my I Photo working again       and post pic's of my last trip out frogging.  Took the canoe this time and Pascagoula Archer (Tommy Ballinger) to the honey hole.

Here the pic's from that trip, all i'll say at this point is that I was the back seat paddler    :biglaugh:     and Tommy wear a big boot!

The first animals I bowhunted "hard" for were frogs. Great sport since frogs are small targets and the bonus, great eating.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

What's this about "split" the way I remember it it was more a 75% shoot (you) to 25% shoot on my part plus the expert positioning of you for the 3' shots you took   :saywhat:

Yea that water is all around the church at this point with no parking lot visiable, pray the lord it don't rise anymore    The Pastors home is in danger of flooding if it rises much more.

And Tommy's right i couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that night, of the 4 shots I  took 2 were at te same frog and he was a twin to the big one    you have to cant the bow almost to a 30 degree angle to keep the lower limb  out of water.
