Ive always been a Tru Flight feather fan.....but I see that Kustom King has the BearPaw feathers and they seem to be significantly less in cost than the Tru Flights....these days with the price of feathers, Im all about a better deal! So who knows about and / or uses these? How is the uniformity of cut? Of quill? Durability? Who knows about these? They even have some cool, different looking colors! :wavey:
I use them, they work great. No issues so far.
I just fletched some up. They are shooting good and seem to be holding up as good as Tru Flight. They do not seem as solid as the Tru Flight in my hand as I fletched my arrows, but as I said, they are shooting really good. I will shoot them again, I think.
Been shooting them for a while now, no complaints.
Using them and they work great for me. The fletching jig is great as well.
They are the best deal going. I have had zero problems with them and they are ground and cut perfectly. I would suggest if you are shooting a 5 inch feather that you buy them precut because they are not long enough to get 2 5 inch out of the same feather. 4 you will get 2 almost everytime. God Bless
Just received my first order and so far I am pleased. Will let you know after I have shoot my arrows 4 or 5 dozen times!
The last bunch of feathers I purchased were BearPaw from Kustom King. They're not quite as thick as Tru Flight feathers and moisture seems to affect them a little more, but the savings are worth it and I think I'll continue to buy them in the future.
With the exception of Magnus' wild Turkey feathers, I use the Bear Paws almost exclusively on the youth arrows and for my own personal arrows. Like others have said, best deal going. Very consistent feather, excellent grind, and the base looks almost polished. Durability doesn't seem to be an issue as I have some on my personal arrows that are six months old and have been shot at least a thousand times.
Very satisfied with them. I am about to order another doz. shortly.
