Got a new (to me) Thunder Mountain Lobo on Monday. It's been raining here ever since, so this is my first chance at pics.
It's 58" 52@28. Cocobolo and Bacote riser with Birdseye maple limbs. It draws smooth and is dead in the hand, wich makes it a dream to shoot! :archer:

That is a beautiful bow! The birdseye gives me something to dream about. I have a cari-bow silver fox that's due to be done at the end of the month and it has birdseye veneer's on it.
I was the original owner of that bow, custom made by Jerry Barr. He only lives a few miles from me. You shoot it way better than I ever did!!!!LOL Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!! Jerry does some fine work.
sidebuster - Jerry stopped making bows the first of the year, adn sold the business. Thunder Mt is still around and Jerry assured me that he sold it to a top notch guy. I think the website is TMBOWS.com He is still making the LOBO last time I checked.

Congrats!
Cheers,

Hey Jake,
Did I just buy this from you? :) Thanks!
Of course I do all my "photo shoots" from 12 yards! Got to be good or there is nothing to hang the bow on! :biglaugh:
Shawn,
Here's the profile pic you wanted. Thanks for reminding me.

Sidebuster, I sent ya an email.
This is only my third real bow, not countin' the training wheels. I can see the addiction!
Derek - You actually bought that from my father. He had a few things happen in his life that took him from trad archery for a short time. He wanted to get back into it, and I had just bought a new bow, so I sold that Lobo to him so he had something to start shooting agian. He prefers recurves, bob lee to be specific, so he sold to help fund a new bob lee classic. It was made new in spring of 06' and I hunted elk and deer and turkey with it. Never "broke it in" so she still needs some blood under her belt, hope you can do the trick.
