On another stand got all comfy. looked up and about seventy yards out in front of me there was one giving me the stare down. Took off into the next orchard and started the yap yap stuff. Then to my lerft his buddy joined him in calling me awfull names.
Later made a stand just in some old cherries next to some old almonds.Did some dog death screams . Right away had one coming in fast. Turnd to get ready ,He was realy moving was on top of me in seconds. Tried for a strait on shot . He goes down and gets up with the after burnners on. Find my arrow and were he was hit.

Well I think the bunnies are going to be safe from me for awhile. Its that time of year.
Dude you are a legend!
I know nothing about coyotes but from what I read they are hellishly hard to get a shot on with a bow... And you do it... Regularly!
Nice shot placement too ;)

Once again........amazing!
Never before have I seen anyone with your skills at trad 'yote hunting.
:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
Congrats Thumper on taking a nice Yote. Man you sure know how to get after them Yotes, and from what I have read about them, they are not that easy to take with a bow, but you make it seem easy. Man if California wasn't so far away, I'd hit you up on coming for a Yote hunt(LOL). They are certainly on my hit list. While I have taken both red and gray foxes here in Maryland, I have yet to draw a string on a Yote. Thanks for sharing your Yote adventures.
Tony
This is always amazing to me.
You are a coyote killing machine, and you do it with a bow. AMAZING!
Congrats and thanks for sharing,
CTT
I always enjoy your posts..well done on the yote as usual..!

Good shooting, Tim...

You got that right Pat!
It isn`t JUST the calling skills!
Calling them in is ONE thing...hitting them is ANOTHER!
I have called them to the bow several times, but when my arrow gets there, only the heat signature where they were standing is left. Their reaction time gives them plenty of space for a miss.
This is AMAZING stuff people!!!
Thanks for sharing!!! :campfire:
he is the man. ive been bowhunting 20 years and only gotten one. he kills yotes like gun hunters kill deer in alabama. lol.
Your quiver must weigh as much as a compound...lol
Mad skills! How hard is a fox compared to a 'yote?
Amazing !
We have a lot of yotes here in mid-Michigan, I need to give this a try. I too have heard they are very weary when you call them in, amazing that you are taking them with a bow !
Dan
your either really, really lucky or really ,really good!
never pass up a thread by you, your amazing on coyotes....i'm gonna say really, really GOOD!
 CONGRATTS!..

Man, thats some skills on the Song Dogs.
That is some awesome shooting. Congrates. Reading some of the posts seems as though you do this on a regular basis. And you shot it on the run too, great shooting.
You are a yote killin' master! I gotta come out there some time.
When it comes to coyotes, no one comes close to you here at TG. Awesome job!
 :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
You the Man!
Absolutely cool. The hunter becomes the hunted, and loses the contest. Congrats. That is on my bucket list; to get a yote with a bow.
