Title: How do you condition/maintain your shooting glove?

I have a cross  over bigshot that I really like and it suffered from the heat and the shootin'

What can I do to restore the slickness of the stall?

Saddle soap. Use sparingly and make sure it's rubbed in well.

I also melt wax on my glove's finger pads and then use a lighter to get it to (carefully) soak into the leather pores. So far my glove is over two years old and shows no real signs of wear other than the leather dye sweating out of it turning my hand/wrist brown.

I use a Neet glove.

I your glove had the synthetic finger reinforcements then use saddle soap only.

I've used saddle soap for years on horse tack. The Saddle Soap keeps the leather pliable and impregnated with the necessary lubricants that all leathers need for longer wear and use.

Good thread, Im a glove shooter as well, but once they groove really bad i start getting off the string sloppy.
The wax and lighter may be the answer ive been looking for.

Manny, I use a Damascus glove and a couple of times a year I wash it out with warm water and mild soap then put it on my hand to shape it and remove it to let it dry for a day or so. Then I put it back on and give it a good rub down with Montana Pitch Blend.

Get a 3Rivers Dura-glove. I have been using them for several years. You don't need to do anything to them, just keep shooting.

If your glove is 100% leather I would use Dr Jacksons Hide Rejuvenator or something else like it.

You can get a bunch of this stuff from Tandy.

Shedrock is right. I shoot a lot, and that duraglove is a very good, no crease, no wear glove

Me too with the Duraglove.  Like an Eveready battery; "just keeps shooting"

I might have a glove for my friend who has horses, hopefully I will meet him soon  :)

I need the reinforced stalls of the bigshot crossover. I will clean with saddle soap then wax

Tire shine. Yes you read that right. Works wonders when use regularly.
