Title: Nikon Monarch 3's vs Vortex Diamondbacks
Post by: Dry Creek on August 25, 2012, 08:27:00 AM: Looking for a new pair of binos. I have narrowed it down to these two binos. Looking for some input from guys that owned both of these. Which one would you recommend.

And I have used them next to monarchs and I would still take the vortex. Either way you will get some good glass

Post by: elkken on August 25, 2012, 01:11:00 PM: I have Vortex Stokes 8x42 and they are fine optics. Very clear, but a bit heavy. I bought the inexpensive Vortex Crossfire 8x32 for truck binos and tree stand hunting and they are working out great for the price, very light and gather good light at dawn and dusk. You can't beat the warranty.

Post by: Matt D. on August 25, 2012, 03:08:00 PM: I use 8x Diamondbacks, and the guy I hunt elk and mule deer with uses the Monarchs in 10x. We both have used each others bios a bunch to see which we like better. Both of us agree we would be happy with either brand.

Used them on muley hunt along with some guys who had much more exspensive bino's, very little difference besides the price. Best purchase I've made in a while, very pleased with them. Like mentioned earlier, you can'nt beat the warranty either.
