Awwriiight... got those Simmons Safaris SHARP!! Now What? How do you guys keep the edge ? Wax? Vaseline etc??? Let Me know!! :archer:
Vaseline is what I use.
Chapstick
X2 Chapstick
x3 Chapstick
Will that protect the edge in a back quiver? And does it need to be removed or wiped off before hunting?
x4 chapstick.
Wow, does this work with all broadheads? thanks
Glad you got them ok. X5 chapstik
I'm gonna go buy stock in chopstick!
Just confuse which one is for lips and which one is for tips. Gary
you know that vaseline and and chapstick are coagulants. meaning they help to stop bleeding. when you see a boxer get a cut eye, out comes the vaseline.
Thats just for small cuts. The hole my VPA's put in an animal, I don't think a little chapstick will hurt.
I use hot melt glue and run a bead down the edge. Then just peel it off when you need it. It's very durable and will stay put until you peel it off.
I like the hot melt idea. except i'd be afraid I might forget to peel it off. I wonder if bowstring wax would work?
