Will that protect the edge in a back quiver? And does it need to be removed or wiped off before hunting?

you know that vaseline and and chapstick are coagulants. meaning they help to stop bleeding. when you see a boxer get a cut eye, out comes the vaseline.

Thats just for small cuts. The hole my VPA's put in an animal, I don't think a little chapstick will hurt.

I use hot melt glue and run a bead down the edge.  Then just peel it off when you need it.  It's very durable and will stay put until you peel it off.

I like the hot melt idea. except i'd be afraid I might forget to peel it off. I wonder if bowstring wax would work?
