Hello Gang-just want your views on using a stabilizer on a recurve bow? Have not heard much about this from anyone, including the usual experts! Do you think it is good for shooting instictive or bad? I will give it a try this weekend but wanted your views! Thanks guys and take care.

I do it, it adds some good mass to my recurve, and takes out some of the hand shock.

They were somewhat popular in the day.  They weren't just invented since the compounds came on the scene.

I myself do not feel they are necessary in the field.  Maybe in olympic archery.  Always wanted to convert an old pool cue and billiards ball into one to carry during a 3d shoot. .  for looks.
