Title: Hi-Tech game bags...
Post by: Rigs on August 17, 2012, 01:44:00 PM
Greetings All,

Am wondering who has tried the T.A.G. Bags and or the Caribou game bags (preferably the Carnivor II kit)?  I'm looking to replace the heavier cotton style with something lighter in my backpack (either the mountains are gettin bigger, or I'km gettin older...)

Thanks in advance.

Happy hunting,
Jason

Can't help you with those, however a thought.  I'm going to run the seas to summit eVent dry sacks this year.  A lot of the lightweight guys recimmend them.  Blood shoot drain through the eVent and they are light.

I have a set of TAG bags, the larger set for Moose & Bison...used them on Bou, deer and Mr. Bullwinkle. I used the same set for all three. Originally bought them in AK for my Bou hunt back in 2003, and the last time I used them was for the Moose in 2010. Washed in warm water and air dried. They come with a neat storage bag. I bought the larger set because to configure the quantities and sizes dependent on the game hunted, etc. I think they are not the lightest game bags, but they are tough and reusable.

My 2 centavos.
