How about listing string information on your sites and/or with your bow information sheets?
What material you recommend, strand count, actual string length, padded loops or not, whether you warranty for FF or not, etc.
Great idea, Chad. Add brace height to the list.
I'm surprised bowyers don't provide this info.

Chad & Guy. Couldn't agree more.
I guess it's something folks just don't think about. When I was a dealer for custom bows, I included a few pages of basic info. that included the brace height range, warranty info., etc. I put a card in with my strings that tells the material, strand count (string and loops), serving type, serving size, what the string is for (longbow or recurve), and the actual string length.
Doesn't take long at all, makes life easier for the customer.
I usually ask about brace hight, and if the bow will handle FF strings.
But it would be nice to have that info. on his web site and with bow when he ships it out.
Good idea, and it would also be helpful if string makers would list how they measure their string lengths.

That's a great idea--thanks! Update on the way....
In no way pointing a finger at you Chad. It's just that my experience leads me to believe all string makers do not measure the same.
How about loop size? I know one bowyer that prefers larger loops on his recurves. That size would be handy to have when ordering a custom string.
While we're on the subject, how about takedown screws that have a slot? Big enough for a quarter or something similar, that you may have easier acess to in the field than a hex wrench.
