Just put #3 in the cooler and I think I'm probably done. Will spend the rest of the season chasing a good buck and I'm going to do it from the ground. That should keep me busy! :-)I've also got 5 quota hunts all over the state through the end of January so who knows....
Big old doe tonight about 15 yards. She spun and dropped at the shot but I still picked up the liver and one lung. She ran less than 40 feet slid under the fence and never got up again. Complete pass through.
I picked up some landsharks this weekend up at TBOF from Big Jim and they are absolutely devastating! This deer left a blood trail that looked like somebody came through with a mop slinging blood all over the palmettos. Incredible.

Thanks guys Its already been a great season and its really, just getting started. I've got several hunts in places I hunted as a teenager with my best friend from high school. We will once again tromp the woods together for the first time in close to 30 years. We may not kill much of anything but there will be memories made and old times relived.I'm really looking forward to it!
Somebody asked for pictures of the bow.

Its a JK Traditions Kanati 58" 43@28" I bought it from Ronw here on tradgang and I believe I've kept it around longer than any other bow I've owned. Its a sweet shooter that isn't going anywhere soon
Great start
What part of Florida you in
way South just below SR 70 middle of the state
I got some friends in Naples and in Sarasota, you hunting private land or public
Jim, I'm on my own private land. We have 20 acres in Venus that we live on and I typically only hunt there. We are surrounded by hundreds of acres of private land and we are a mile off the nearest road. We are in the sticks for sure, But I like it that way!
Congratulations Brad! You already have #3 and most of us are still shooting foam. I love the anticipation you are giving me.
Nice Brad! Still waiting for my first! Good luck on that buck.
Awesome. Good report.
Two questions for you. Firstly, which Landshark? Four blade? Two blade? Weight?
Secondly, what were you hunting over? Love to hear details.
Thanks and big congrats.
Nice job, good shootin'!

Five weeks before moose season in Ontario! Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!
Throughout the entire season last year I only had two deer within range...one was a tiny doe fawn that I passed on, and the other a small buck straight on to me.
Congrats and great shooting.
