Title: What Would a Good Used Samick Stingray Go For??
Post by: Nala on August 11, 2012, 12:53:00 AM
Hey all,

Can anyone give me an idea as to how much a Samick Stingray at 45 pounds in good shape would sell for on the USED market?  Right handed, by the way.

If there are any owners out there, I would like to hear your thoughts on this recurve.  I have read both great reports as well as some not so great.

What do you think?

Thanks

Nalajr

I think they are decent bows for the price, my buddy has one and it is fast and quiet, and pretty comfortable to shoot.

I had one and killed a few deer with it,thought it was a great bow,I don't think you can go wrong with it.

$150.00 or so, if it's in good shape. i had one, actually more than one, and they were good shooters. Not set up for Fastflight, though, if that matters, and I found the grip to be a little skinny for me.

good bows otherwise.

Mine came with a FF string on it from TT and it's one of my favorite bows. If you have a long (29"+) draw it will stack a little but it's quiet and shoots well for me.

I bought one new for $219 delivered. I had Josh make me a padded FF string for it and added a Big Jim quiver.

It was a good shooting bow and the short length was really handy in the woods.
I draw 27" and I think much over 28" you would feel the stacking pretty bad.

I hunted with it last season and killed a nice doe.

I don't keep many recurves so when a Kodiak Magnum came my way I sold the Stingray for $175 and kept the quiver.
