I ordered their DVD "Pure Bowhunting" and after about 30 minutes decided to order the other DVD "Bowhunting Reflections". These were two seperate orders so I had no problem paying shipping on both orders. The second day after placing the 2 seperate orders I recieved both taped together in the mail today. Also there were three $1.00 bills in the package refunding me for postage on one of the orders! When we deal with a business with integrity and honesty such as this they need to be complimented. They will get more business from me. And the DVD'S were great! Thanks Steve!
Wow good to know.
They are good people!
Steve is an OK guy.
Steve Gorr is one of the good guy!!!
I have nothing but good to say about Steve, and Cascade Archery. Great folks!
My wife and I ordered both videos, and got the cash overpayment back with the order. We watched both videos one night, and wished for more. We enjoyed these more than anything we have seen in a very long time.
I even emailed Steve to ask about the fletching he used, as I couldn't figure out what I was seeing. He promptly answered, saying he had no secrets, and explained how he did them. Class act all the way. It's nice to deal with a true gentleman.
 Enjoyed bowhunting reflections. I'll put pure bowhunting on my list.
Steve is top shelf, Honest and knows what he is doing. his movies are great and so is he.
Enjoy the films,
CTT
Folks here in the Northwest (and around the country) are fortunate to have people like Steve Gorr representing our sport. It shows in his DVD's how much he and Fred Anderson love it.
What Lon said ... also Steve is a very fine family man
These DVD's were just great. Does anyone know if Steve Gorr or Fred Anderson have any more DVD's available? Thanks for any information.
:clapper: :clapper: Class act to say the least!!
Steve has more footage to make another video. Keep up the good compliments and he will make another. If you ever get the chance to meet with him do it. He is a great story teller and will keep you entertained for hours. Same with Fred. I am honored to have them as friends.
Chris.
Chris thanks for the information. I would love to see more DVD's from these men. I appreciate their love for bowhunting and the honesty and intergrity they demonstrate while on the hunt. I would love to sit and listen to either one of these gentlemen but living in Alabama it would be difficult to span the distance. But if they make another one I will be the first to buy it!
Ditto all the above
I lived within 30 minutes of Steve most my life and never met him till I moved 8hrs away from him to Idaho. I can say a ton of things about how great Steve is but all I will say is I wish I met him sooner in my life.
Jess it was great to see you and meet your dad at Christmas. I hunted bear in Idaho the past season and had a great time talking bowhunting and stump shooting with Ted Fry. When you are as old as myself it is good to have a young pair of eyes like Ted's to help look for my arrows. If you get a few bear coming in this spring you might find me at your door step. Jess tell your wife that the cookies that she sent were the greatest they didn't last long.Steve
Another plug for Steve, Fred, and Cascade Archery...
I have a copy of Steve's old movie, "An Alaska Bowhunting Family", and just enjoyed watching it again last night. It's an old relic, not compatible with the high digital video standards of today, but still fun to watch.
Until a couple of years ago, I didn't realize that Steve regularly wrote articles for bowhunting magazines around the 60's-70's, too.
Great folks!
Steve Gorr is one of the good guys!!!
Both DVD's are awesome and should be in every bowhunters library!
It was great to talk with you too Steve. I have a feeling this year will be good for bear hunting and you can show up anytime! By the way my brother said he loves his Brushhawk!
GOOD folks and GREAT DVDS
I've enjoyed several talks on the phone with Steve, and have enjoyed many snowed-in sub-zero afternoons stalking the trails with him via his videos.
One of these days I am going to get to shoot a few of his bows. Sometimes you can just tell the quality of a bow just by watching it in action, and I can tell that these bows REALLY shoot.
As for Steve, he's a fair shooter-------for a recurve guy!
Rik
That is one great water buffalo that you put down. I believe that you took a half dozen boar on the bow hunt also. I was not able to make the Safari shoot in Idaho last July. I hope that you are able to make the one in Canada this July. I believe Fred Anderson will try to make the shoot. Lon Scott and Chris Hill will be there and they are excited about sharing a campfire with you. I still go over the articles in my Instinctive Archer magazine that you founded they were great.
I have to go out and fling a few arrows catch you latter.
I have Bowhunting Reflections, Alaska Bowhunting and Pure Bowhunting. All great and the crew at Cascade is first class.

Yep. I agree 100%.
I think archery would be a lesser place without Mr Gorr .
Never met him but we have corresponded a few times via email ... I know he is a gentleman and know quite a few lads over here who wax lyrically about his bows ...
But I think at hear he is stump shooting rogue of the highest order , and I'd be weary and keeping count of all my arrows and the condition of their nocks during any stump shooting encounter ...
A fellow archer I'd be genuinely be happy and maybe a tad awed about sharing a campfire coffee with.
I received the same treatment last year and EXTREMELY fast shipment. No plodding handling on the part of these fine folks!
I just got off the phone with Fred and being from California, he said that he would like to go back to Northern California and try for a Russian Boar. I have only hunted California once for blacktail deer.
They have the good boars the ones with the long noise and tusk that show. I would have a hard time not tagging along with him.
Steve Gorr.. Reading this reminds me of my very first P&Y Trophy, back in 1987 .. I had the pleasure of hunting that antelope around Douglas WY, with Steve and his other friends.. After reading Steve's stories of Elk, Sheep and Goat hunting, in Bowhunter Mag as a teenager, it was like meeting someone I felt I already knew.!
Steve, Thanks for the great memory... I'm looking at that Antelope Buck on my wall right now..
