Can I get your thoughts on the Martin Mamba?
The one I had was a solid performer, smooth and fast. Selling it was another mistake on this bumpy road in persuit of the "Perfect bow"

I had a really good Martin Mamba. Shot it for a long time. Very light in the hand. I found it an ideal length for stalking through brush. If you search it out you will find the Mamba has quite a history.
First tradional bow I bought was Mamba back in the early two thousands, she is still a work horse to this day. Very Smooth and fast! It is hard to leave her at home some days for my custom longbow.

This was Tuesday from 25 yards.
I think they are great bows and despite the fact that I have too many bows I'd like to own one in the 45-48# range.
Mamba is a good bow for sure. I owned one for years. Did everything I asked. Solid Performer. Quiet enough. Accurate.
Got a 80# one back around 1993, it was built solid and very fast. Unloaded it in 1997 to a friend as I found I like and shoot bows longer than 60" much better than the shorter ones, and a Mamba is 58".........
I shoot one and have no complaints. Very light in the hand and grip is comfortable for me.
I sold one to a member on here this year. Great bow,one of the gray Damon Howatt's. 65#@28",it really ripped an arrow.
I shot my first trad deer with one. still have it, great shooters but my limb was twisted when I got it and didnt know any better so its retired. overall a great deal by todays custom prices
