I was messing around on a website the other day and came across the arrows gold tip came out with sponsered by B. Ferguson and was wondering if anyone shot them. At 15.1 gpi they sound pretty sweet.
I don't know of anyone on here that has shot them yet. I agree they are some the heaviest gpi shafts I know of.
I've shot them and they shoot great. They hit with authority.A friend did shatter one on a rock at a 3-d shoot,a glancing miss sent it into the rocks at a sideway's angle.

I might pick some up in the classifieds in a couple years. A bit too pricey for this po boy.

I would like to try some, but they don't make them stiff enough for my bows. I do keep them in stock and they sure look good.

BigJim i saw them on your site now that ya say it. They seem like awesome arrows.
They are nice! I know that times are tough, but I'm surprised at how many people have an issue on the price.
I know guys that don't use a doz shafts a year and fret over $5.
I personally go through about 6-8 doz a year and would at least try them if they had a .300 spine.
thanks,bigjim
i dont know what spine id need for my 80# bow but id love to try them out of my 72# if they have one heavy enough
For me to pay that much they would have to have a warranty against breakage if I win the lottery I'll buy a dozen
I have a dz and they 2x tuff as the regluer GT and weight is good . I will be buying more latter a dz will out last the regluer with out having to do stuff over the tips .
As far as i know they were meant to match the weight of cedar so you could use them as wood-like (weight and FOC) carbons fpr the tougher training stuff.
Id like to shoot em for that reason, but the price is still to high for me.
Thats alos because they have one issue i dont like:
The outside wall diameter is 11/32", but the insert-collar is tapered, 11/32 on shaft end and 5/16 at tip end. I can see this was meant to make the usage of 5/16 tips possible but i dont like that one bit. If there was a 11/32 collared insert wich one could use with 11/32 tips id have to think again about them....
