That's it for me, Terry! I just can't shoot that kind of draw weight. I had a blast with Hope last year and will put my name in the hat again if one comes in that I think I can shoot well.
I Hope you get all the slots filled and lots of critters taken with them this year.

Too much weight for my old bones.
A bit to much weight for me. They look like some sweet bows though.

Seems like an elk somewhere should meet up with Ms. Faith this September.

Love to but shooting LH, I max out at 54# and 52# feels real good. A tad too heavy for me...
C'mon guys, you can do it!
Terry contacted me about hunting with Hope, and I turned down the offer. I thought 64# was heavy for me since in the last year, I have only been shooting some of my lighter weight bows, 50#, 52#, and a 55#.
I grabbed a 63# recurve which I had never shot, and started shooting it. It was not that bad. I got back with Terry and told him I would do it. I shot my 63# for 2 weeks and was feeling great. I was shooting really good, and holding my anchor for 3 seconds, like I always do with other bows.
I got Hope in the mail Monday, and started shooting her. She draws really smooth, with no stack for a 56" bow. After only a few shots to get used to her, the arrows were hitting where I was looking. After just a few days of shooting her, and tuning arrows, "we" are ready for the Aug 15th antelope opener.
If I can do it, so can one of you guys. Go for it! :archer2:
Yep, the weight is to much for this guy! Good luck to those that are up to the challenge!
