I made my first trip to Denton Hill a couple weeks ago. Primary goal...have fun and shoot!
Well, it took all of about 1 minute in front of John Dill's booth to convince myself that I needed a new quiver to go on my brand new Widow. :scared:
Anyway, here are a few pics of the quiver on my new Widow. I think it's a perfect match. The quiver is very, very well though out. There are endless ways to adjust it to get the perfect balance. It can be moved in toward the string, or out further in line with the riser, up/down....you name it! The big thing for me is that it doesn't induce torque like some heavier quivers have done for me in the past.
Thanks again John for a great product!

Thats a sweet looking Widow. Looks a lot like mine LOL. John makes a nice quiver looks good on your bow. TD.
Allen , is that bow the Dewayne Martin signature modle? Looks great and I bet it shoots better than it looks. You'll love the the quiver too. Sent you a string buyer the other day. later DB
Actually Don...this is the "Allen Shafer" signature model! :biglaugh:
Dewayne is getting hard to keep up with these days. I am way envious!
Allen,
I liked it when I saw it. You were shooting well with it on the bow. I would never had known you didn't have the bow until two days before the shoot.
Again, nice look'in combo. (:
Martin
That's Purty...
Looks awesome Allen!!
I've got a Dual Arc on order. Not to drag this post off in the bushes, but this will be the first bow quiver I've owned that allowed any type of adjustability and I'd like to hear feedback from those who've tinkered with them as to whether you preferred them mounted closer to the bow or to the string.
That's definitely one fine wood combination!
I thought you were just joking when you said you were out splitting wood! Sure makes for a nice background.
Great looking bow Brother!
Thanks guys! It is a great quiver on a great bow! It takes me a while to get completely used to a new bow, but it's coming around!

I'm still tinkering with this as well. I will try to post my final. opinion soon.
Tim, by the way....I do have TWO spitting mauls. You are welcome to come down and join in the fun anytime! :biglaugh:
Dang Allen your always shooting a new bow! I love Widows and that quiver is sweeeeet. I like the Dove Tail screws very no nonsense and you can tighten them as much as needed. Awesome setup for sure!

It must have sucked mine up and blew it away! John ,get off the phone with Batman and get mine made!!!!
Have you figured out how you're going to break this one and reconfigure it yet, Joey??? :archer: :archer:
even Joey can't figure out how to make this any better.
Joey, he aint on the phone with me. I have to drive up to talk to him since he got famous.
Nice set up - what is the riser wood? Bolivian Rosewood (pau ferro) and little skinny strip of phenolic? Like that quiver
The riser is Ziricote, with black glass and bamboo stripes. The limbs are Tiger Myrtle.
That looks great Allen, Glad to see you finally put the Habib down!!
Yep Ed, I'm back "home" now!
Notoriously famous.....(LOL)
Mike and I have really poured on this week. All Denton orders and customer call orders are headin out today!!!

2hats
Enjoy that beauty and send me some harvest pics!!!
Got mine this morning. It's a very interesting quiver. I'm looking forward to getting her home and mounting it on my 62 Kodiak!
Got mine and love it. Posted my impressions in the Product Review section.
John
Unreal how quickly you turned those orders around! After leaving soggy camp site for the second day (Martin can attest to this!), I needed a new toy to make my aching back feel better...my son Alex and I found ourselves at John's booth. I'd beeN looking at his quivers, and a few others for awhile.
After talking to John I determined not only were his quivers top notch but he and his wife ( and son!) are terrific folks who treated my son and I like family....
My quiver arrived yesterday and I couldn't be more thrilled...not been a big fan of bow quivers in general (John added a tree hanger for me) but this fits perfectly...between the straps not budging and the infinite adjustments I've already had it comfortably on my 62" Widow and 52" Fedora! Just waiting on my son' s newly ordered Christmas gift from Fedora and he'll be getting one too!
:clapper:
Thanks guys!!! Really enjoyed seeing everyone at Denton!!! Enjoy those kanati quivers!!
Your mail box is full. Call Jet. I guess thats a good thing.
Don
Called him yesterday. Looks like a special Kanati with moose droppings sprinkled around. (LOL)!!
That is the coolest widow i have ever seen and its a lefty to boot!! The quiver looks awesome. i have two of John's other and now seeing your rig , it looks # 3 is about to be ordered.
I bought a new dual arc quiver from John at Denton Hill for my new Dakota Pro hunter that I just got. Very well thought out quiver, can't wait to take it for a walk in the woods this fall.
Rick
Got one, liked it so much I wrote about it in the 'Product Review' section!
